Emmanuel Christian University was established in 2009 for those not having the opportunity of formal ministerial training with a quest for Kingdom Knowledge. The Arch Bishop has since been brought face to face with the desire to establish a Christian University that could accommodate Long Distance Learning to equip the people of God with the required qualification to effective Ministry Work.

With the knowledge that the success of any organisation rests upon leadership, ‘Emmanuel University’ offers courses geared towards raising leaders that will raise others to affect their world.

We offer courses that qualify students to obtain effective level of degrees from Certificate up to Doctorate level. One of the affiliates of Tibu is Emmanuel Christian University which is a product of Emmanuel Christian Centre International. Both Ecci and Ecu are legal entities which are also partners of Cici and Associates whose religious wing is WacScu associated with Faith Bible College but Cici and Associates community affairs arm is the NDS Foundation on Civic education and community engagement and development.

Ecci and Ecu are headed by a Saqa accredited religious professional whose name is Archbishop Dr Prof EC Ketsekile.

We congratulate Prof Ketsekile for the work he has been doing inside and outside SA in Christian education and development.

TIBU-BU and Cici-BU of which Ecu and Ecci are partners are a part of Ballsbridge University of Board of Quality Standards. Internationally recognised by CUFCE and INQAAHE respectively.

Based in South Africa, Emmanuel Christian University International operates globally by means of online studies at certificate, diploma , bachelor, master and doctoral levels. We are associated with Gideon Robert University of Zambia but operating globally as a Zambian Govt accredited university .GRU is officially recognised by Saqa as well as the govts of Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Credits from ECU are accepted by GRU from ECU for theological education up to degree level.

Our Vision

Leadership skills and development for effective Leadership role in all spheres of life and ministry by empowering them with Kingdom Knowledge in order to lead the people of God into discovering who they are in Christ. To raise ministers of the gospel and ordain them for their respective office as Apostle, Teacher, Evangelist, Pastor, Prophet as Scripture commands. Eph 4:11-12

Our Mission

Our Mission is to reach all church leaders of different denominations with our leadership training programme and equip them into their respective office as Bishops, Apostles etc. and giving them credentials for effective operations. Knowing that until a man is well trained he cannot effectively use his skills to benefit others. Gen 14:14

Our Objectives

One of our main objectives is to bring order to the body of Christ by training leaders with the spirit of excellence who will in turn benefit others. 2 Tim 2:1 – 2, 2 Cor 14:40. To see that those who have no formal training or Education in the Body of Christ and join our institution for effective Ministry work are ordained by Emmanuel Christian University and given the right qualification for effective Ministry work. Emmanuel Christian University train students for effective ministry work as are one of our objectives but ordain after training as the course may demand by Archbishop Dr Prof Emmanuel Christian Ketsekile of Emmanuel Christian Centre International.
